Happy Friday guys! Recipe of the day is Leftover Rice Turmeric Balls – oven-baked rice balls with lots of cheese, chives and turmeric.

I think this is one of our favourite rice ball recipe so far. I make quite often arrancini or rice balls (usually to use up and leftover rice) but this one was the most liked by everyone in the family. I don’t know whether it’s the turmeric, the chives or the combination of both but these yummy balls were gone in a minute. And I’ve already got a request to make them again, like soon.

What you need:
- basmati rice
- chives
- an egg
- mild cheese
- salt and pepper
- olive oil

Here’s how to make this delicious Leftover Rice Turmeric Balls
Ingredients:
- 200g plain basmati rice, cooked
- 120g mild cheese, grated

- Make small balls and arrange them on a baking tray, lined with baking parchment.
