Happy Monday guys! Recipe of the day is Pumpkin Chocolate Cake with Pecans – let the Pumpkin season begin! 🤣
To be honest, I feel I’m running a bit late with opening the Pumpkin season. 😀 I see lots and lots of pumpkin recipes everywhere now. So about time to start sharing with you some delicious Pumpkin recipes, starting with this beautiful cake.
The layers are made of dark chocolate and pecans and I’ve used Mascarpone and pumpkin for the cream. It really is not difficult at all. As I’m quite a beginner myself regarding cake making, I’ve noticed it requires a bit more patience and precision than making a salad for instance. 😆 It is important to measure the ingredients correctly and please, do leave your tasty baking creations to properly cool. I have definitely struggled with this one for a while (thanks to my impatience) 😬.
What you need for the Pumpkin Chocolate Cake with Pecans:
- pumpkin
- pecans
- Mascarpone
- eggs
- sugar
- dark chocolate
- double cream
- butter
- flour
- instant coffee
- icing sugar
- salt
