Happy Thursday guys! Recipe of the day is Grilled Tuna Steak Salad – packed with goodies, this salad is super delicious and will fill you up!
This Grilled Tuna Steak Salad is so simple but yet all the ingredients work so well together and compliment the beautiful tuna steak. Now that I’m writing the recipe, I start doubting if it’s actually a salad but this is what I named it originally so I guess I’ll go with it. 🙂
I mean, it is so nutritious and filling, it can easily pass as a main dish, especially if you add a slice or two of buttery garlic bread. 🙂 I used leftovers baby potatoes so the only ingredients I had to prepare was the broccoli and tuna steak.
What you need:
- tuna steak
- broccoli
- baby potatoes
- Nocellara olives
- cherry tomatoes
- pine nuts
- olive oil
- lemon
- salt and pepper
Here’s how to prepare this vibrant Grilled Tuna Steak Salad
Ingredients:
- 2 grilled tuna steaks
- 1 broccoli, cut into florets and steamed
- 250g baby potatoes, baked and cut into halves
- 200g cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
- 100g Nocellara olives
- a handful of pine nuts
For the dressing:
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 1tbsp fresh lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- To make the salad, simply combine all the ingredients together and pour over the dressing.
- To make the tuna steak – use a griddle pan with olive oil and cook to your liking. We do like our tuna steaks medium rare or medium well so we don’t cook them for a long. If you prefer your tuna steak, make sure to cook it thoroughly on each side.
- Serve with a slice of warm garlic bread to complete the meal.
Enjoy!
I hope you guys love this recipe as much as we did. Stay tuned for more quick, easy and tasty seasonal recipes coming soon. Meanwhile, have a super tasty Thursday and an amazing weekend. xx
