Happy Wednesday guys! Recipe of the day is Asian Style Chicken Gizzards -sweet and spicy and absolutely delicious!
I feel chicken gizzards are quite underrated and neglected, here in the UK. They are not very popular in the shops and a lot of people have never ever tried them.
However, growing up in Bulgaria, chicken gizzards and livers were like fish and chips. They are usually prepared with a lot of veggies – onion, peppers, tomatoes or deep fried, coated in batter and enjoyed with a pint of beer. 🙂
Trust me, they are absolutely DELICIOUS and you haven’t tried them yet, go for it! You are missing a lot. 🙂
What you need:
- chicken gizzards
- ginger
- garlic
- soy sauce
- chilli peppers
- honey
