Happy Sunday guys! Today’s recipe is Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Cranberries – a delicious side dish for the big night!
It seems that brussels sprouts are one of those veggies that you either love or hate. I’m from the first ones and always look for new ways to prepare them. I saw this recipe on the TV and I instantly wanted to give it a try. It really looked delicious and it really was. I simply love sweet and salty flavour together. And mixed into these roasted to perfection vegetables, it really worked so so well. I mean, looking at the pics now, I’m drooling. I believe we definitely need some lighter, healthier dishes among the gazillion dishes at the Christmas table. 🤪

What you need:
- brussels sprouts
- cranberries
- balsamic vinegar
- sugar
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
Here’s how to make these delicious Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
- 1kg brussels sprouts, cleaned and cut in halves
- 50g cranberries
- 150ml balsamic vinegar
- 2tbsp sugar
- 3tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the brussels sprouts in a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, turning them half way through.
- Meanwhile, prepare the balsamic reduction – in a pan, heat the balsamic vinegar and sugar, bring to a boil and when is thick enough, remove from the hob. Make sure to stir constantly.
- Drizzle the roasted brussels sprouts with the reduction and sprinkle the cranberries.
