Happy Thursday guys! Today’s recipe is Plum Walnut Cake – simple but so so delicious seasonal treat! 🤤
As promised in my last post, here’s my TASTY Plum Walnut Cake. Would you believe me that at some point we were enjoying it straight from the baking tray with just a spoon? It was that good! 🤠After serving the first couple of pieces in a pretty plate and realizing it was not enough we simply got ourselves a couple of spoons and the baking tray.
It may be served with ice cream, custard, clotted cream or anything else you fancy. I enjoyed it as it was and it was more than perfect. 👌
What you need for the Plum Walnut Cake
The cake uses really basic ingredients. I’ve used about 5 plums, sliced but depending on their size and your liking you could use more or less.
- plums
- walnuts
- flour
- butter
- double cream
- eggs
- sugar

I hope you guys love this recipe as much as we did. Stay tuned for more quick, easy and delicious (Fall-inspired) recipes coming very soon. I have planned a big weekend cook out (including a red velvet cake, which I’ve never made before 😬). 🤠Honestly, I’m not really sure whether I’ll be able to tick everything on my list but I’d really like to so I’ll do my best. Hopefully, you can see these creations next week. 👌 Enjoy the rest of the week, just one more day till the weekend! Yay! 🌞xx
P.S. I was just thinking, I don’t have any plum recipes on the blog which is a shame. 🤷 I do like plums a lot, but it seems I rarely use them in my cooking. Most of the time I enjoy them as they are. Off to browse some tasty plum recipes now..😀
