Here’s the Recipe of the day – Honey Ginger Pork Bites!
And here’s how the idea came – I had made stuffed pork a few days ago, but because it was way too much, we couldn’t finish it. Here’s how I decided to use the meat and make something different that could be easily finished. And it was!:)
The bites are coated in eggs and flour and are served with sweet ginger and honey dip – you must dip your pork bite into it! The combination tastes soo good!
Here’s what you need.

Ingredients:
- 500g/1lb cooked pork, cut into bites
- 5eggs, beaten
- 200g/7oz flour
- salt
- sunflower oil for frying
- salt and pepper
For the honey ginger dip:
- 1/2 a cup pure honey
- 2tbsp dry ginger

Preparation:
- Heat a pan with the oil – pour enough so it can cover the bites when frying.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Dust the flour in a shallow bowl. Add some salt and pepper and mix.
- Dip the bites into the egg mixture and then cover with flour. Dip into the eggs once again.
- Fry the pork bites for about 5 minutes or until golden.
- To prepare the dip – in a bowl, combine the ginger and honey and mix well.
- Serve hot!

Tip: Try serving the pork bites with some sweet chilli sauce as well!
