No Bake Chocolate Orange Cheesecake

If you like me, love the combination of chocolate and orange, I’d say you should make this gorgeous dessert. It tastes very refreshing but at the same time is quite rich and decadent. The recipe is more than simple, with basics ingredients only and there’s no baking involved. It basically ticks all the boxes for quick, easy and super tasty dessert. 🤤

I made it smaller than usual so if you are making it for a crowd, you might want to up the ingredients. 😀

What you need:

  • cream cheese
  • chocolate
  • orange
  • powder sugar
  • butter
  • digestive biscuits
  • double cream
No Bake Chocolate Orange Cheesecake

Here’s how to make this No Bake Chocolate Orange Cheesecake:

Ingredients:

  • 200g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 150g butter, melted
  • 400g cream cheese
  • 150g chocolate
  • 80g powder sugar
  • 6g gelatine
  • 150ml double cream
  • 1 orange, zest and juice only

Preparation:

  • Line a tin with baking parchment and gently press the crushed biscuits and butter to make the bottom layer.
  • In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, powder sugar, half of the orange zest and half of the juice. Add the gelatine (follow the instructions to prepare it). Miix well, spread on top of the biscuit layer and leave in the fridge for an hour.
  • To make the chocolate layer – heat the double cream and add the chocolate to melt. Leave to cool and thicken and add the orange zest and juice.
  • Spread the chocolate layer on top and finish off with some more orange zest. Leave in the fridge for 2-3 hours before serving.
