Happy Friday guys!

Here’s an amazing hummus recipe with brown chickpeas. 
IT was so delicious we only had hummus for dinner for the last couple of days.
I served it with carrot sticks, cucumbers, celery and red cabbage.
Yes, cabbage! Haven’t tried hummus with cabbage before but because I had a small piece in the fridge I decided I’d give it a go.
And honestly, I think it would go well with almost every vegetable because it simply is delicious.
On top of that it is very healthy, so I say you give it a go too!

Here’s what you need.
Mummy’s Fast & Easy

Ingredients:
  • 300g/10oz brown chickpeas, cooked or from can
  • 150g/4oz tahini
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 lemon, juice only
  • 1/2 a cup olive oil
  • salt

Preparation:
  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients and work them with a blender to a thick mixture.
  2. If necessary add a bit of water (if the mixture is too thick).
  3. Before serving drizzle some extra olive oil and throw a few chickpeas on top.
