D o you love honey? And bananas? What about dry figs?
I love all three of them (probably because they’re all so sweet) so I combined them in a healthy and sweet oat cakes.
They feel like real treats but are healthy and very nutritious. So if you’ve got a sweet tooth like me, try these! I like having them for breakfast, so does my 2 year old and they really fill me up.

Here’s what you need.
Mummy’s Fast & Easy

Ingredients:
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 100g/3.5oz dried figs, chopped
  • 2tbsp pure honey
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 a cup almond milk
  • 150g/5oz porridge oats
  • 100g/3.5oz wholewheat flour
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 1tsp cinnamon

Preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/392°F.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients.
  3. Gradually, add the wet ingredients.
  4. Pour the mixture into a muffin tray bake and place in the oven.
  5. Cook for about 20 minutes or until ready.
