Meatless Monday: Strawberry & Gorgonzola Cheese Watercress Salad with Chia Seeds

Strawberries are not really in season here, but it seems they sell them everywhere these days.
And they look so fresh and juicy. 
Well, to be honest, they’re not that sweet yet, like the ones I buy in May, but still, they taste fresh and fruity.
So I got myself a pack of these last week and made really refreshing strawberry salad with watercress, Gorgonzola cheese and Chia Seeds.
It was quite tasty and filling!

Here’s what you need.

Mummy’s Fast & Easy

Ingredients:
  • 200g/7oz fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 200g/7 oz watercress
  • 100g/3.5oz Gorgonzola cheese
  • 3tbsp chia seeds
  • 2tbsp olive oil
  • 1tbsp lemon juice
  • salt

Preparation:
  1. Combine the salad ingredients and crumble the Gorgonzola cheese in.
  2. Add the olive oil, lemon juice and season with salt.
  3. Sprinkle with chia seeds and serve.

Tip: If you’re not Gorgonzola cheese fan, try Feta cheese instead!
